UNIT 3: PROJECT DESIGN
NAME: ART AROUND THE WORLD
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Students will do a research about the best painters of all time, and they will choose the one who connect best with themselves.
TARGET STUDENTS: 9-11 years old
LANGUAGE: English
GOAL AND AIM:
1. Use the ICT to do a research
2. Work cooperatively in small groups of 2-4 students
3. Improve the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
4. Students will use strategies to summarize information, resume and organize their text
5. Students will describe their favorite painting, explaining why they like, what they can see and their feeling with the picture
WORK PROCESS
1. Students will do a research about the best painters of all time.
2. They will choose the one that they like the most.
3. They will do a line time about their favorite painter
4. They will use strategies to compare painting, likes and dislikes.
FINAL PROJECT: WAX MUSEUM
At the end of the year, students will celebrate a Wax museum. Each students, will become in the painter that they have chosen. They will have their work, such as lapbook, with them. They will be standing in a row. When other student stop in front of them, they will present their character.
